BOREDOM People nowadays shift their attention at work every 45 seconds. Our brains are constantly multitasking between work, checking email, talking on phone. Boredom is beneficial for the brain: We may think how it can be beneficial to the brain. Take an example When you are walking to school, taking a shower or staring blankly out of the window - that's when you ignite a network in your brain. Your body is in autopilot and your brain actually fires up. This is when your brain connects all the random ideas and thoughts floating in the background of the brain.
