Greece is an country in south-east Europe officially belonging to Hellenic Republic. It's capital is Athens which is the largest and capital city too. The Greece is in the crossroads of Europe, Asia, Africa.

To tell about Greece we can only remember about is history alone because there has been many historical events has taken place here. It is the birthplace of :

Democracy

Western literature and philosophy

Theatre

Major scientific and mathematical principles

And the Olympic Games.

If we asked which empire was Greece in we easily answer it is of Rome empire but it was not before.

Greece was first existed in divided states it was "Philip II of macedon who United the Greece into one state in 4th BC. His son was the great "Alexander the great" who conquered a lot of the world. The Rome empire annexed Greece into their empire in the 2nd BC. Annexing Greece into Rome empire was an integral part of the Roman Empire.

After Rome empire they fell into the hands of the ottoman empire in the mid 15th century. after struggles and after a "war of independence" in the 1830 Greece emerged in as an morden independent nation state.

You would not believe but the Greece has 18 UNESCO world heritage sites which reflects their historical legacy and heritage.

Now this is my most favorite picture of Greece

Shaolin temple Shaolin temple is also known as the shaolin monastery which is a Buddhist temple in China. It is believed that this temple was founded in the 5th century and this is the main temple for shaolin school of Buddhism to this day. The shaolin temple and it's pagoda forest was considered as a UNESCO world heritage site at 2010 as part of the historic monuments of the China. Before the monastery was led by an Abbot but the communists era and religion restrictions has changed the ancient system. This prestigious site is a must see when you go to China.

About Amazing Marina trench Marina trench. It is the most deepest spot ever located on the earth. It is even deeper if compared to the Everest height. Marina trench is located in the western Pacific Ocean. This Marina trench is also known as the "Challenger Deep". In 2009, the marina trench was established as an US monument. Due to its deep space in the world it idealized for microorganisms to habitat in there. In 1960, and expedition was conducted and they have found a lot of rare aquatic species living in the challenger deep. They are, Flatfish. Shrimp Sea cucumber And a lot of microorganisms. The marina trench was proposed as a nuclear waste site at 1972. Because of its tectonic plates in hope that these tectonic plates will push them into the earth's mantle (which is the earth's second layer).
