Dancing house
The dancing house is a building situated in Prague in Czech Republic. The dancing house which is also known as "Fred and ginger" this name is given by The Netherland national.
This house was designed by Croatian-czech architect Vlado milunic with cooperation of Canadian- American architect Frank gehry.
This building was designed in 1992 and it took four years to complete. This house was completed on 1996.
This house was first called "Fred and ginger" house by gehry which is now used very rarely. The gehry himself discarded his idea because he feared he might bring the Hollywood into Czech and destroying their own film culture.
The "Fred and ginger" house was named after the two dancers "Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers".
The Dancing House has been called inappropriate in the classical city of Prague. The style, shape, heavy asymmetry, and material were considered out of place by critics.
